Thanh-Truc Nguyen is making work with a similar perfection as that of her former teacher Georg Dobler. She uses finely woven steel in layers, thus creating a vivid surface with a mesmerising, magical moiré-effect. This optical illusion is intensified by the use of colour and a clear vocabulary of form.
