Wim van Doorschodt | Panta Rhei

Everything's moving…..

Wim van Doorschodt's oeuvre is a flood of inspiration, ideas, experiments and products. A voyage of discovery in which the latest piece is always the most important, the link to the next piece. Free and independent, he works obsessively, with boundless energy.

His materials are acrylate and corian, hard manmade substances that he begins by merging and then shapes by cutting, filing, sandpapering and polishing into free-flowing, footloose shapes, leaving the tough but unwitnessed process far behind. Wim's theme is lust and life, expressed in natural forms or in erotic reference: intertwined love couples.

Drawings by Wim's son Raphael form the basis for the latest items on show. They are executed in white or pastel corian with a - barely photographable - visual and tactile quality. Radiant acrylate accents give the form an added sparkle. Panta Rhei…A parade of fascinating fantasy-figures passes by.
