Quietly, but passionately, Floor Max builds her jewellery oeuvre. Using materials such as silver sheet and gold wire, crystal beads and freshwater pearls, and applying techniques such as knots and twists, wrapping and weaving, she gradually models her elegant constructions. The consistent interaction between idea, material and application results in clear forms such as rosettes and crystals, reflecting motifs from the worlds of flora and technology.

In this collection Floor employs hardly any colour. The metal has a matt surface; with a patina, the silver becomes anthracite grey. It makes the rings, brooches and necklaces appear introvert and mysterious. The necklaces look their best when worn: line and rhythm creating a refined tension and subtle elegance.
