LEPELS | SPOONS is a themed exhibition for which professional designers and students were invited to submit newly designed spoons. The response was overwhelming and after selection by a jury of experts - Herman Hermsen, Annelies Krekel and Ted Noten - an exciting collection of some 80 designs emerged which will be shown at Galerie Ra over the next two months.

Around December 7 the book LEPELS | SPOONS with full-colour illustrations of all the designs will also appear, with an historical introduction and review of the chosen collection written by Paul Derrez. The photographs are by Tom Haartsen, the design by Nel Punt and the book is published in Dutch and English.

The book is dedicated to Onno Boekhoudt who recently died and was involved in the early stages of the project and would also have been a jury member.
